Posted by Another work dream: in an office, I had two ideas that I needed to get sign off from my coworkers for. The first one was easy, and I was able to communicate it’s concepts by displaying them on a tablet computer and going around to all the major stakeholders, one at a time. The second one required I list the technical details on paper, and put this paper in a common area, for stakeholders to sign off on, one at a time.
I went to check on the paper, which had been stapled to a wall, to see if everybody has signed off on it when I became startled by some movement under it. Turns out an enormous spider had become trapped under the stapled sheet. This spider was the size of a human hand. It was like a face hugger, and watching it’s legs move under the 9 1/2 x 11 inch sheet was similar to seeing a coconut crab shift it’s massive claws around under a Hooter’s t-shirt.
